Can ebay just take money from my bank account without asking?
I was just looking at my bank account and noticed $1 missing. I’m not entirely sure whether eBay took it or if it were from some other thing. But can ebay just take money from my bank account if it is not linked to my ebay without my permission?

LikeDislikeIt most likely got taken from your PayPal account and transferred onto your bank account. Probably from the fees from when you sold something (listing fees). eBay however, cannot take your money and wont.

LikeDislikeCheck your emails! You always get an email advising how much will be debited and when (like next week).
It wouldn’t be eBay themselves, it would be via PayPal, when you sign up to sell, they ask you how you are going to pay your listing fees etc, and they prefer you to have PayPal.
