Could this be done with an online betting account ?
My friend has an online betting account. He left his account signed in when he fell asleep.
I would never do this but would it be possible to add my card details to his account then take the money that was in his account and put it onto my card?
Also could I have deposited money from his card into the account then put that money on my card?
After this i could take my card deatils off the account so he is none the wiser.

No you still most likely need some verification to access his account options. You could though most likely Transfer money into another users account, but he could find out what happened through his transaction history. The poker sites will still have all the details and yes you will get caught and get in trouble. If you wouldn’t ever do this than why ask?

You’re better off just slipping into his room when he’s sleeping and just taking the money right out of his wallet.
