Having spent many hours (and $$) over the past few months studying the ins and outs of the Kindle marketplace, I have to say that this book condenses much of what I have learned and observed into one very short and compelling read. I would quickly recommend this book as the starting point for anyone who aspires to become a published author in today’s environment, and then encourage them to re-read the book several times along their journey toward accomplishing their goal. It packs an amazing amount of wisdom into an easily digestible package. The one surprise in the book was the number of typographical errors which I noticed. It’s not that they get in the way of the information being presented, but rather that they seem so out of place and at odds with the book’s message. Hence, 4 stars instead of 5.

Well-written, easy to follow and full of great information I have not seen in any other Kindle “success” product. No suspicious hype or unbelievable promises, just solid, easy to implement factors to improve your Kindle books and make them the best they can be so you can make more money.

I was very pleased with this little book. Amy McDaniel shows why e-publishing on Amazon is such an amazing way to get our books into the hands of lots of people. Then she tells us how to maximize the potential of our book in 12 simple, but not necessarily easy steps.
The writing of a good book, especially for a novice, would be the most difficult part of becoming a successful writer. However, if that is done well, and if lots of people are looking for that particular subject matter, then the odds of success are great, especially if the 12 steps are followed. Recommended.
