Free U-571 film. A film “U-571″ by Jonathan Mostow. The german U-571 is seriously damaged, so that the full, perfectly trained german crew isn`t able to run it. Of course a hand-full american sailors, who even can`t read the (german) instruments of the different machines in U-571 probably manage to get away with the submarine immediately. But here is the most evil thing about “U-571″ — director Jonathan Mostow in many interviews has complained that the great submarine movie “Das Boot” was a lie because it portrayed the German crew as sailors, soldiers, human beings and not Nazis. This little piece stuck out like a sore German thumb. Perhaps those who wrote and directed this should acknowledge the current wisdom that war creates few, if any, real heroes. [..YouTube..] Sorry. I know I’m not that man who you asked, but a think the Silent Hunter III is better, more better than four. The silent Hunter IV is good at graphic, but it’ too dificult. The silent hunter III is also good at graphic, and you can see the game better and it’s not too dificult. The sound are also good, but it’s true since Silent Hunter II (not III). I’ve got Silent hunter III for 2.5 years and I still like it unlike Silent Huter IV. I’ve downloaded it.

[..YouTube..] Das boot is good and accurate war-film. The experience of watching U-571 can mostly be replicated by playing stars and stripes VERY LOUD and standing and saluting an American flag for about 3 hours.

[..YouTube..] U571 is a joke - everyone knows HMS Bulldog got the first Enigma machine.America didn’t even join the war until December 11th 1941, seven months after the first Enigma machine was captured by the British!In 2006, screenwriter David Ayer admitted that U-571 distorted history and stated that he would not do it again. Ayer told BBC Radio 4’s The Film Programme that he “did not feel good” about suggesting Americans captured the Naval Enigma cipher rather than the British.

The only significance of U 505 was the risk of alerting the Germans to the fact that the Allies were breaking their codes-2 days before the troops landed in Normandy.

Without the code books and/or “cribs” it was very difficult to decipher the messages in time to make the information useful.The capture of U 110(including code books and new Enigma )and other vessels kept the Allies ahead of the game.
