Free My Blueberry Nights film. A film “My Blueberry Nights” by Kar Wai Wong. This is a film of contrasts. A good story let down by poor dialogue; some great acting as well as some mediocre and good direction marred by irritating and indiscriminate “motion blur” filming. Where this film really succeeds is in not falling into the Hollywood pitfalls of so many indie movies where the the film becomes brooding or cynical. Ten minutes into the film, when the “Yumeiji theme” (in harmonica) used so prevalently in “In the Mood for Love” was played in the background, I was almost teary eyes.
