The film certainly ranks as one of the closest to the real story Hollywood historical mega-films. Why Alexander is Great? Because it was made by a visionary about another visionary, because it is true to itself, to the legacy, to history, because it doesn’t sell off, because it is not your typical popcorn blockbuster, and most of all because, steering away from creating a cartoon-like, hollow and fake “Super-Man” (Troy’s Achilles) it focuses on the Man Alexander. he movie is fantastic; Well done, Olivier. I could watch his scenes over and over again! The main actor was very true to the character of Allan Quatermain in the original book by H.R. Haggard. Free watch Dogma film. A film “Dogma” by Kevin Smith. I have always loved Kevin Smith’s style of directing and this film has re-affirmed my belief that he is one of the top directors in the film industry at the moment. Dogma’s topic was a very sensitive one and could have been misused but Kevin Smith has dealt with the subject perfectly. The satire elements in this movie are well done. I thought the edition of George Carlin as the self-centered Cardinal Glick was an especially nice touch. The cast is great and there are many instances of hilarious viewing, usually Jay and Silent Bob, as well as very sensitive and expressive moments from the various actors. Watch free Ask the Dust film. A film “Ask the Dust” by Robert Towne. Ask the Dust follows the Depression Era story of a rather average writer attempting to be a great one. What saves the film is the frank dialog and odd sparks between Colin Farrell, as repressed Italian-American writer from Colorado, novelist John Fante’s alter ego with the even more ethnically redolent name of “Arturo Bandini”, and Salma Hayak as a non-stereotyped Mexican spitfire “Camilla Lopez”. Salma Hayek is very sexy in this film. It’s a piece that will linger in the memory though, in my opinion, and you can’t say that about the majority of the modern day films. Watch free Tristan + Isolde film. A film “Tristan + Isolde” by Kevin Reynolds. Beautiful, full of emotion and moving. One of the great love stories from the medieval courtly romances, “Tristan and Isolde” has received many different treatments from medieval poets such as Gottfried of Strasbourg to the haunting opera by the nineteenth-century German composer Ricard Wagner. Sophia Myles captured the fire, vulnerability and desire of Isolde with fervor - and that’s not easy to do. Myles delivered her lines subtly, tinting words with emotional depth -scorn, joy, passion, frustration, disappointment - that was understated and yet passionate. The actors and actresses really gave off the impression that they were in love and troubled by all of the heartache they must overcome. Even though it is 2 hours long, I lost track of time and all sense of my surroundings. Not an action flick like Gladiator or Troy, but if you like that era this is a movie for you. Watch free King Arthur film. A film “King Arthur” by Antoine Fuqua. Jerry Bruckheimer’s KING ARTHUR is a shining example of that new breed of mythology adaption. Not just the new take on the King Arthur legend and the able cast, but the colors, the costumes, the landscapes, the horses, and Hans Zimmer’s heart-pounding score. The lead actors, too, are outstanding, from Stellan Skarsgaard’s sociopathic Cerdic, to the delicious Keira Knightley’s dark and beautiful Guinevere. Only Clive Owen disappoints as Arthur himself, lacking the emotion this characterisation requires to supplement his steely resolve. Also Keira Knightley kicked butt in this movie as Guinevere she was believable as a warrior in the battle scenes and a lady during the peaceful times. Watch free full King Arthur film online now..!!
Watch free Hercules film. A film “Hercules” by Roger Young. love Greek Mythology and this saga did a good job bringing the hero Hercules to life. The scenery, costumes and actors were great(even the children). Others have complained about the special effects, but this was made for family entertainment. Real surprise was Timothy Dalton who obviously really had fun doing the role and it showed as great performance. Same with Perkinks as evil mother. would recommend this to anyone who likes action, romance, or has any interest in mythology. Unlike some of the other reviews on this site, this movie was perfectly enjoyable if you don’t take it too seriously. Watch free full Hercules 2005 online now..!!
Free watch The Valley Of Light film. A film “The Valley Of Light” by Brent Shields. Films is going as drama with a little bit of romance. I echo the other comments about the refreshing lack of foul language and violence that passes for entertainment nowadays. It’s also great to see courtesy, good manners and integrity given prominence. Noah sets out to rebuild his life, not really knowing where he’s bound, and encounters a mysterious and gifted old man who directs him to a nearby town. Upon arriving there, Noah is immediately embraced by the locals who at once recognize him to be of high character. He meets a mute boy named Matthew he befriends, and an elegant widow named Eleanor. A terrific supporting cast rounds out this Hallmark Hall of Fame gem. The filming locations in Oregon and California fill in nicely for rural, post WWII North Carolina. Free watch Stop Loss film. A film “Stop-Loss” by Kimberly Peirce. The acting was extraordinary from the three main soldiers, most notably Ryan Philippe who is so gritty and real in his performance that he seems like he actually is a marine. It’s horrible that we need a new one, you’d think people would learn their lesson the first, or hundredth, time they were taught it. But anyway, the movie is pretty good. All soldiers are informed of STOP-LOSS when they enlist. I’m sure most don’t think that it will happen to them. I recall that a very similar military policy was explored by Joseph Heller in Catch-22. I think a comparison to that novel and film is more apt than comparing this to The Deer Hunter. Watch free full Stop-Loss 2008 film online.
Free watch The Baker film. A film “The Baker” by Gareth Lewis. I am often a bit leery of the term “black comedy” because it is sometimes used to describe films that I find strange and unfunny – but that is not the case with Gareth Lewis’s wonderful new movie The Baker. Micheal Gambons role could have been played by any actor, then they could have brought in some comedy actors - icons instead. Damian Lewis for me isn’t a comedy actor, an assassin yes, but a baker no. amian Lewis is absolutely wonderful in the lead role, displaying the perfect blend of comedy, action and romance. Hats off, bravo and well done to everyone involved in this immensely enjoyable and entertaining film. Watch full The Baker film online.
