Stardust - watch free
Watch Stardust film. A film “Stardust” by Matthew Vaughn. The plot line really is nothing like I have seen, and a unique story is certainly appreciated with everything else that is currently in or coming soon to theaters. In spite of what first impressions may give, it isn’t cheesy, corny, tacky, or ridiculous, and is actually highly entertaining and funny. Special effects are muted yet accomplished, and only significant where they should be. Best flying ship yet — sorry Potter. Direction is light-hearted and flows nicely. Cinematography could have been better but not everyone films in New Zealand. One of the most striking things to me actually was how self contained the story is. Unlike so many sci-fi fantasy movies out there right now which leave open-endings and such this was a pure fairy-tale, satisfying in and of itself with no need for a sequel. [..YouTube..] That’s one of the best films I’ve ever seen. It’s not just a fairy tale, it’s philosophy. Even though it’s funny in some places it’s not a senseless comedy. In every joke there is something to think about. This is awesome.

It makes me not want to watch the movie now, I hate it when they change books so much that its almost like another story.Also Vicky and the witch are suppose to have black hair, not a big deal I guess but this kind of thing bugs me.

I really enjoyed this film. The trailer does a pretty good job of capturing the same general atmosphere of the movie. It’s always nice when the trailers aren’t misleading, for a change…

[..YouTube..] you have to see the things as two seperate entities. rather than thinking of it as the film of the book, just try to see it as a film in it’s own right. if you can’t do that, try to see it as an homage to the book. i mean niel gaiman was on set almost every day, so he must have thought it was alright. i love both the film and the book!
