Watch The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian film. A film “The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian” by Andrew Adamson. This will definitely go down as one of the best fantasy films of all time. I think Lord of the Rings is going to always be the best but Prince Caspian has really boosted the Chronicles of Narnia. It never felt like it was over two hours. I’d have to say that Walden did an amazing job of staying true to the storyline and that Disney’s magic is back. I will recommend this movie and absolutely plan on adding the DVD to my library when it comes out. You might feel that the first one was pretty good. Ofc Tolkien and Lewis were best friends, some stuff from lotr comes from Lewis’ Ideas, and some stuff from Narnia comes from Tolkien. But Narnia is a childsbook, I think the movies failed :S Just like the LotR movies failed in someway compared to the book.Though if you don’t look at the book, it’s a decent movie I guess

Another example of some braindead Hollywood producer thinking he/she can do a better job of telling the story then CS Lewis. So much was wrong. Pevensie kids coming in too early, Nikabrik and Trumpikin seemingly swapping personalities, the ridiculous council scenes with Miraz and the worst part the kiss between Susan and Caspian. IT WAS NEVER WRITTEN. What is it doing in the film?

Most things fitted well in the story (though im not so sure about the Susan/Caspian thing and i personally wouldve loved to see the part about the ‘wild’ people..) and some changes in the chronological order made it almost better. The acting (Ben Barnes’ subtle face expression-changes and accent, just brilliant) and the score by Harry Gregson-Williams, as in the first, was great too. I’ve seen it twice!

Nothing truly original has been written in the past 500 years, only because everything written, whether plot is new and exciting, can be boiled down into the archaic story types. Human trials and truths will always be the same and will always show up in everything written
But the stories told are truly amazing…especially with Narnia.

So, LWW came out 1st (in 1950), then PC (1951), then came VofDT (1952) and SC (1953). Horse and His Boy came next (1954) followed by Magician’s Nephew (1955) and then The Last Battle (1956) came, well, last.

Like marvel for instance they have a lot of ways to go, they got to cut things from the comic to make a movie. it’s not easy as it seems. trying to stickt he story is kind of hard….i write scripts so i know……and i read marvel and love movie. I really enjoyed seeing the kids again, but I had to sit through 15 minutes of some stupid Prince Caspian getting chased on a horse. I enjoyed seeing the kids, than I had to sit through more of that stupid Narnian’s and Prince Caspian and evil uncle crap. I had to turn it off at the part where Edmund is fighting that dwarf on the bridge. It was just too stupid. Should I give it another chance? I hear it’s really good.

Leadership struggles, bigger and more advanced battles, and other things. I love the book to, but it got kinda slow in the second half. I’m suprosed this isn’t nominated for any Academy Awards tonight for effects or anything. It wasn’t the BEST film I’ve seen in 2008, but it was impressive. All I saw was a small shot when they made a tribute to action movies.

[..YouTube..] There are 7 books, that’s how it’s supposed to be. If you read the first book it’s all about how narnia and the portal between narnia and earth came about, it’s amazing =) and it has nothing to do with the Pevensies. Once a King or Queen of Narnia, always a King or Queen, but you can’t live forever (even in Narnian years =P). But they would always be recognised and mentioned by future Narnians as Ancient Kings and Queens i guess.

[..YouTube..] Actually, the first book that Lewis wrote and published is all about the Pevensies. MN is a prequel, not the original. In fact, MN was the last book that Jack finished writing. It was second to last to be published.
