Jaws (1975) film - Watch free
Watch Jaws film. A film “Jaws” by Steven Spielberg. Widely regarded as the film that began the “summer movie blockbuster era”, JAWS (1975) was also rightfully one of the year’s most critically acclaimed movies. The plot is somewhat thin: a large shark is terrorizing the tourists at the local beach. However, with that said Steven Spielberg’s direction is amazing. The young director (only 28 at the time) showed unlimited potential that would only increase with age. The first victim, alone will haunt those who view it for the rest of their days, and the rest of the story is more like a battle. This strange battle is often more focused on understanding the other side. What Brody, Quint, and Hooper must do is plunge into the depths themselves, and seek out the unruly monster of the sea. It is just as effective after thirty years, and to this day I still have an irrational fear of swimming even in fresh water, even though I am fully aware of the extreme unlikelihood of a shark attack. June 11th, 2008 at 6:48 am
[..YouTube..] u know this movie is based on some true facts, btw u guys do know, sharks r the nisest things in the world, they attack us cuz they think we r danger to them wich we r ppl usually go after them to kill them, nd they only eat certain types of fish nd confuse us for food, cuz u guys seen ppl swimming with them, when ur very carefull, they wont attack u ur as one of them in the ocean, but they know we r danger, nd can confuse us for food, read about it ull find out they r they nicest things.. etc..
June 18th, 2008 at 4:07 pm

[..YouTube..] i love this movie one of the best!
July 13th, 2008 at 1:17 am
[..YouTube..] Saw this film on TV when I was four - scared the crap out of me and gave me recurring nightmares at the time, but also gave me a real respect and fascination for the power of the ocean and everything in it! Not many popular films can do that!
July 13th, 2008 at 1:36 pm
[..YouTube..] A great movie with a great cast. Robert Shaw’s recollection about the USS Indianapolis is mezmerizing. I’d guess the only thing scarier than seeing a shark’s fin coming at you in the water has to be when the fin disappears below the water. Gives me the heebeejeebees just thinking about it.
July 14th, 2008 at 8:27 am

August 12th, 2008 at 2:28 am
[..YouTube..] I saw this at like 7 years old (1990). Phobia since then, the ocean and kiss my ass after seeing this shit. This can really happen, which is why it’s a masterpiece, however, fuck the ocean. We’re made for dirt on land not teeth in the water!Fucking Spielburg.
August 14th, 2008 at 7:05 pm
[..YouTube..] love it
September 10th, 2008 at 10:29 am
[..YouTube..] I remember seeing this at a theater in Detroit when it first came out in 1975. I was 7 years old and went with my Aunt who was looking for something to do with his nephew. I have never, to this day, heard such loud, blood curling screams coming from a movie audience. I was mortified myself and swore I’d never go swimming in the ocean, ever!

October 15th, 2008 at 8:00 pm
[..YouTube..] Why so serious?
October 17th, 2008 at 6:14 am
[..YouTube..] Good movie. But I think the trailer shows too much of the story; maybe they used this way, in the past…
October 17th, 2008 at 1:29 pm
[..YouTube..] When they pulled that girl under at the beginning, even though it was 2 divers, she was literally scared, you could tell .
October 17th, 2008 at 2:47 pm
[..YouTube..] Yeah Peter Benchley got the idea from the 1916New Jersey shark attacks. The true story is really quite interesting. I get the idea that it was the same shark that made all 5 attacks. If you look at a map that pinpoints the locations, the sharks just continued upstream. Read up on the story. You’ll really enjoy it.
October 24th, 2008 at 3:22 pm
[..YouTube..] i still havent watched this yet
i want to now though x

[..YouTube..] My Parents said they saw this film in 1975 a week after it was out[my dad is addicted to movies]and they said that the theatre was like one big roller coaster as people were screaming.some even left…they said the same thing happened in the screening of the exorcist too. And guess what ?that was where my dad met my mom.JAWS BROUGHT MY PARENTS TOGETHER !
November 15th, 2008 at 3:40 pm
[..YouTube..] No, i think a classic should be left alone and its my favorite film of all time and a film like that should be left alone…
November 23rd, 2008 at 5:49 pm
[..YouTube..] You yell shark, and we gotta panic on our hands on the 4th of july.
November 25th, 2008 at 4:28 pm
[..YouTube..] man even the trailer is beyoned suspenceful
December 5th, 2008 at 8:02 am
[..YouTube..] They kind of did that with Godzilla. The original in 1954 was a true classic then america did their own version, which was hated by many people.
December 14th, 2008 at 6:29 pm
[..YouTube..] That would suck and everyone who reads this knows it. I’d probably still watch it though…
December 15th, 2008 at 11:07 am
[..YouTube..] wat if it turned out at the end that they got the wrong shark, and that they got eaten when they were swimming home by the real shark
December 23rd, 2008 at 6:32 pm
[..YouTube..] This film was made in 1975, a true classic it would be a crime to make a new version
December 28th, 2008 at 2:24 pm
[..YouTube..] Funny. I made a comment to my wife last week about how fast movies are being now. Mass produced. The last “Iconic” movie that I saw was probably “Pulp fiction”; Simply because it’s a movie that none of us will soon forget. 1994, 14 years ago..But 38 years ago, a 27 year old director had the vision to turn a summertime recreation into a state of fear and paranoia. I saw it at the age of four, in 1975 and 143 times since; My first ‘True’ memory. Iconic? No Dark Knight’s money can buy JAWS status.
January 3rd, 2009 at 9:15 am
[..YouTube..] How could such a terrific horror movie like JAWS (that became the first ever film to reach $100 million dollars), NOT win the Academy Award for Best Picture in 1975? How could a talented 28-year-old Director named Steven Spielberg not receive a Best Director Academy Award, yet, even a nomination? 34 years later, and over 100 times viewing it on VHS/DVD, this film will always be enjoyable to watch. RIP Roy Scheider, Peter Benchley, &Robert Shaw.
January 10th, 2009 at 3:47 pm
[..YouTube..] This is the best movie. Jaws is the best. great film by steven speilberg. the scary part is when jaws jumps on the boat near the end and that guy slips and falls into the mouth of Jaws.A Classic. the sound and the color may not be as good but JAWS is the best. They just dont make movies like JAWS anymore.
January 11th, 2009 at 10:28 pm

January 26th, 2009 at 4:23 am
[..YouTube..] an absolute belter,1 of the best films ever, the banter between the 3 leads on the boat is awesome,Robert Shaw was made for the role of quint.a true classic.
January 27th, 2009 at 3:11 pm
[..YouTube..] All 3 of the stars, Roy, Richard and Robert, totally nailed their roles in this epic classic. What makes it so scary is that great whites actually get that big, so yikes!
January 29th, 2009 at 4:25 am
[..YouTube..] I just celebrated my one hundred and fiftieth time watching the Greatest Movie of All Time, with my best buddy, Darryl Foster; A real good friend of over thirty years, and he knows what it meant. So does my Dad, who took his Dad to see it. And my Mom, who took her mom to see it, then my Dad took me to see it…. Get it? 1975, Kon Tikki theatre, Dayton, Ohio. I was four, and Jaws is my first ‘True’ memory, and thanks to the three men that helped make it happen, who aren’t here anymore; A drink.

March 4th, 2009 at 3:20 pm

April 12th, 2009 at 12:02 pm
[..YouTube..] i love these movies jaws2 is the best
April 12th, 2009 at 4:36 pm
[..YouTube..] The book is awesome. I thought it would be corny because I forgot how classic this was I think I probably only remembered the bad sequels or copycats.I’ll have to watch Jaws again.
April 13th, 2009 at 1:23 pm
[..YouTube..] I haven’t see this trailer before and, to be honest. This trailer doesn’t really do the movie Justice…since the movies is a little bit more slow paced than that…haha. But I like it. =0I just watch this movie with no sound, and listen to “Riot” - Three Days Grace…fits pretty damn well. =D
April 15th, 2009 at 3:32 pm
[..YouTube..] We’re going to need a bigger boat
April 22nd, 2009 at 4:19 pm

April 24th, 2009 at 9:50 am
[..YouTube..] Jaws is best of these I think
May 3rd, 2009 at 6:27 pm
[..YouTube..] Still one of my all time favorite movies. I’m kind of torn between wanting them to remake it and not. I’m afraid if they remake it they’ll screw it up. SO I guess if it’s not broke, don’t fix it.
May 4th, 2009 at 11:27 pm
[..YouTube..] Yeah, this is perfect as is. They need to leave it be. The remake would be terrible. I can see a cheesey Richard Dryfus cameo now…
May 4th, 2009 at 11:52 pm
[..YouTube..] Haha…sorry, didn’t mean to put that vision in your head.
May 7th, 2009 at 4:47 pm

June 16th, 2009 at 8:02 pm

June 24th, 2009 at 10:14 am
[..YouTube..] NO REMAKE EVER!
June 27th, 2009 at 3:58 pm
[..YouTube..] This movie was so awesome, but the only thing that bugged me was how the Shark looked. It doesn’t look like a Great White Shark in real life and the Shark in this movie looks as if it has gotten overweight and fat getting really unhealthy from a bad eating behaviour and looked pretty bulky/chunky looking as well. But this movie is still the bomb. Its right up there along with Deep Blue Sea (Deep Blue Sea is the only other Shark Movie that ranks with Jaws in my opinion as a good shark movie.)
June 27th, 2009 at 4:04 pm
[..YouTube..] No offense to you guys. The shark just didn’t look that realistic looking. Why couldn’t Stephen Spielburg make it realistic like the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park. Then it would be great and he should of had it looking like a real great white shark. If you know what I mean.
June 30th, 2009 at 7:56 am
[..YouTube..] jaws was made in the 70’s and jurrasic park was made in the 90’s
July 7th, 2009 at 4:32 am
[..YouTube..] The white shark isn’t a mindless killer, it is a very well adapted fish, seal and whale eater, and smart to
July 9th, 2009 at 4:04 pm
[..YouTube..] lol ur talking about two different times jaws in 75-76 and jurassic park in 92-93
July 30th, 2009 at 11:35 am
[..YouTube..] IT’S TERRIFIC!!!!
August 2nd, 2009 at 9:22 pm
[..YouTube..] Haha, starring Robert Shaw, draining a can of beer effortlessly!
August 10th, 2009 at 10:28 am
[..YouTube..] The shark is “megadolon” shark..go check it from wikipedia
August 17th, 2009 at 8:07 pm
[..YouTube..] Actually, a remake should be done because the JAWS series needs to come alive again after 2 horrible movies-JAWS 3-D and JAWS: The Revenge. With awesome CGI to create a great white shark and a lot of money for A-list actors, a new JAWS film can do big business for Universal the way the 2 new Batman filmsdid for Warner Bros.
August 17th, 2009 at 8:10 pm
[..YouTube..] JAWS…see it before you go swimming… awsome…..
August 19th, 2009 at 7:43 am
[..YouTube..] Kinda like they did the remake of House of Wax, right?
