House Of Flying Daggers - watch free
Watch House Of Flying Daggers film. A film “House Of Flying Daggers” by Yimou Zhang. I have never, ever seen a film that the West has ever created that can top Chinese cinema in this form. the plot revolves around the mysterious House of Flying Daggers, a group of assassins leading a rebellion of sorts, against the rulers of their land. News has reached the local military captain Leo that the leader of the House can be found plying their trade in the local brothel. As you would expect from a Zhang Yimou film, the visuals are majestic, with primary colours and panoramic landscapes making up much of what we see. So many elements come together beautifully that what’s also ironic is the that film could easily be a stage play. I enjoyed this immensely. Just awe inspiring. [..YouTube..] if it’s a ‘lost knowledge’ we’re not introduced to nowadays, doesn’t mean it’s fantasy. apparently they did have that in their martial arts, and not everyone possessed such an ability. and to attempt and explain it with some physics, it’s got to be action and reaction. they just knew how to move to take advantage of the air. and probably their leg muscles developed differently… better than transformers anyway lol.

[..YouTube..] It’s so unfortunate, this movie was absolutely terrible. All style and no substance. I was impressed with the action packed first half, but then the story got entangled in a web of ridiculous plot twists, painfully bad ‘near sex’ scenes and a baffling anti-climax at the end.

[..YouTube..] House of the Flying Daggers is as visually stunning as any movie I can think of and Curse of the Golden Flower by the same director is another masterpiece and I was so pleased I saw the latter without seeing the trailer which I feel would have spoilt some of the drama and surprise of that movie. Magical.

[..YouTube..] i expected another shitty fly-in-the-sky fake martial arts chinese movie (i’ve seen SO many disappointing movies where they “fly” while fighting, SO unrealistic and sometimes makes me annoyed that i’m chinese lol) but I was really amazed by this one ^^ Although this one has a little flying, the movie was VERY cool XD and takeshi kaneshiro was mega hot o_O
