Watch Batman: Gotham Knight film. A film “Batman: Gotham Knight” by Yasuhiro Aoki and Futoshi Higashide. A simple fact that it bridges the gap that occurs between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight alone is why this needs to be viewed as a prelude to The Dark Knight. The stories in themselves are interesting, with some good set pieces. Some sight into batman’s past is given (as is customary), and is one of the stronger stories. The opening story of how different people see batman is also good fun. In conclusion Batman Gotham Knight is a lackluster journey into the world of Batman.Now it isn’t all bad,when the movie starts winding down we are introduced to a more darker and more complex Gotham, but by then the movie is asking for a clinging lining of faith,even for a fan. [..YouTube..] I bought this on DVD about 2 days ago. It’s simply awesome. One of the best things I’ve seen in a long time in fact. It’s funny how they used some of the same animation styles from the Animatrix. And personally I think Batman looks awesome in some of the more sophisticated anime styles. I never thought Batman would look so cool that way.

I really liked a few things the sonar vision, The Joker,the Joker as a cross dresser,and the Jokers pencil magic trick. The Dark Knight is Best superhero movie ever. This Gotham Knight is sort of Like the ANIMATRIX of the Matrix (a cartoon filler of a film). They got that same idea down didn’t they. So I heard this is basically a sequel to Batman Begins but a prequel to The Dark Knight is that true.

[..YouTube..] Sounds to me like a lot of people aren’t familiar with Batman’s frequent use of “up and coming” technology. While the scenes involving deflecting bullets may not be realistic, the way Batman treated the entire scenario was very in character. Personally, the film was handled classily, as all the stories came together to explain whats been happening with The Batman since the end of the last film. Opinions or not, observation fails to be a strong point for several of you.

[..YouTube..] Yes, I completely agree w/ you daviddarabian. I had a chance to watch all the episodes of the Batman: Gotham Knight, and I too was highly disappointed by the writing. I happen to like only 2 episodes: Crossfire & especially “Working through pain”, that had to be the most meaningful chapter of all 7 that reflected Bruce Wayne’s addiction and obession to fighting crime. But the rest, were very poor indeed.
