Watch Quiz Show film. A film “Quiz Show” by Robert Redford. t would be pretty surprising if Quiz Show, Robert Redford’s film about the 1950’s quiz show scandals was anything short of excellent. This is a glossy, professional piece of work that sadly was never as huge as hit as it deserved to be (probably not enough explosions for the US audience). Here’s most of the ethics in a nutshell: the star contestants of a popular quiz show are cheating, with the connivance of the producers, the sponsor, and the network. That they shouldn’t be cheating is never in dispute. A classical tragedy of a man with the world at his fingertips who throws it all away at his own volition. As a classical Shakespearean actor Fiennes is perfect for the role. All in all, a wonderful film on a subject in which one might not normally find interest, but very well done and an outstanding yet understated collection of actors and actresses make this one. [..YouTube..] this isn’t the theatrical trailer. Wish it was, I’ve been looking for. This is the home video trailer. I can’t even find the damn DVD in stores. Can you post/do you have the theatrical trailer?

[..YouTube..] This is one of the theatrical trailers before the film was nominated for four Oscars. It was shown on television and theatres at the very beginning of 1995. The DVD is still available in Region 1 format on line with the original theatrical trailer. Order it now.

[..YouTube..] I Cant believe I just got the DVD from amazon and it still doesn’t have the original theatrical trailer! Instead, they show a whole scene from the movie instead of a real trailer. I can’t believe it. I actually wanted the trailer more than the movie. Why would I wanna see a whole scene on the DVD, I have that scene in the movie on the dvd I just bought. Was there not enough room for both things or are they just waiting to pimp a special edition? Bastards.

[..YouTube..] I wonder if there WAS an original trailer before the film was relesed in December 1994 in Los Angeles to qualify for Academy consideration? Redford and his cronies may have wanted to find out what the critical and Golden Globe response was before they released one. Make sense? At least the DVD should have included the trailer posted her. For shame!

[..YouTube..] I couldn’t stop smiling when I saw this movie: Ralph Finnes was hot as hell as always, and there was something about Rob Morrow that made him totally appealing - I think it was the 50s style. I actually kind of liked him more than Ralph in this movie (fake accent or not)Superb movie anyway - great plot !
