Watch Amelie film. A film “Amelie” by Jean-Pierre Jeunet. A slice of heaven right here on earth, “Amelie” is a joy to behold, and has some of the most gorgeous cinematography I’ve ever seen in a movie. This movies biggest crime, and yet its biggest asset, is that it is in French. Subtitles just does not bring full justice to a movie like this, and it is bound to scare off most of the audience not used to subtitled movies. The film is full of surprises in both plot and characters. I left the theatre feeling lighter. It is truly one of a kind, eccentric, unusual and uplifting. I will not say more on it as it would spoil the fun. Amélie’s conflict is what rounds out the picture and makes it complete. The movie is deep and takes Amélie’s inner struggle seriously, but it’s never heavy. If not for anything else, see it for Tautou’s performance, but prepare to be smothered in a dream world. [..YouTube..] This is an amazing movie but I think the anouncers harsh, american voice, and the much too simple way he describes this movie doesn’t do it justice at all. The cinematogrophy in this movie is amazing, it is the most clever movie I have ever seen, and it is hilarious in parts.I love this movie!!

[..YouTube..] they didn’t use telephoto lenses for the close ups. i think all the shots were taken with wide and normal lenses. look at the close-ups, nothing is out of focus, even the background is crisp clear.

Visually arresting, flawless direction and acting, creative unusual use of special effects, and deeply, deeply satisfying. You walk out of the theater feeling like you’re walking on air. [..YouTube..] I saw this movie with that fat nigga BoVice and thought it wuz real good real good story real good music Amelie wuz my favorite I loved her she was so funny an cute an pretty she was the funniest she made me laugh so hard and my fat nigga BoVice laughed hard too. I just wish Amelie wuz a rapper an busted a rap about the story at the end and that there wuz a bad guy for her to shoot up at the climax. But it was real good movie an Im gonna go 2 best buy with that fat nigga BoVice an buy the DVD.
