As Potter fans will know, in GoF, Harry is now fourteen and in his Fourth Year at Hogwarts. The thing I disliked most about the movie is that Albus Dumbledore is not portrayed as the calm, wise old wizard he is in the books. Instead he is portrayed as a stormy, confused old man that doesn’t have much of a clue what’s going on. It would have taken a minimum of another half hour to flesh the movie out and that simply wasn’t going to be done by a studio whose primary target is a younger audience. Since when exactly, has Dumbledore ever lost control and shaken Harry. If this is how he reacts to harry’s name being entered, what the hell is he going to do when Harry destroys his office in The Order of the Pheonix. This movie, like many, does have its shortfalls. I believe that Dumbledore was portrayed as a little too intense, like an old Al Pacino. Instead of the benevolent, kind, and good-humored old man I have always loved in the books. If Harry’s name hadn’t gotten in there, then he wouldn’t have won and gotten to the Port Key. And if /that/ hadn’t happened, how would Voldemort get his enemy’s blood?Without the Goblet of Fire and the Tri-Wizard Tournament, the book would be nothing.

[..YouTube..] Ya, in the beginning, it was just the announcer of the three “lucky” contestants, but since it called out Harry’s name, it suddenly became an ultimate factor in the return of Lord Voldemort. So, it is pretty important.Not to mention that it sounds more mystical than Harry Potter and the Tri-Wizard Tournament since in reality goblets can’t hold fire, and only such a thing can be done by magic. So Jo could’ve done it either way, but I think she made the right choice when it come to the magic.

The Goblet of Fire exemplified how I imagine Hogwarts and Harry and other people. Next to the Prisoner of Azkaban, it strayed from the book the least, I think. Thoguh they added more…”action,” to the tasks, the graveyard scene completly stole the movie for me. So epic!

I always liked when they went to hogsmeade but in the movie you just see the bar. The battle was good but most of all i was annoyed to see harry about to hand over the prophecy. The Harry in the book would never have given voldermort what he wanted.

Harry Potter is 350 million dollars ahead of Twilight, sorry.Both of the series have their good and sucky parts, it’s just that Twilight doesn’t really have depth in the plot…girl falls in love with a stunningly-hot vampire, also falls in love with a werewolf, a big messy love-triangle commences, she and the vampire have sex and somehow she conceives and has a baby she names RENESMEE (UGH!), and there’s no epic battle at the end. Sort of a letdown.
