It seems that there is a rule in all movies with a small town as the main scenario, and it is that at least one of the characters usually feels limited in the little town. “Elsewhere” falls into the latter category. The actresses (and actors) are cute and do a decent job. (Keep your eye on the “weird’ girl). I was so tired before the film started, I doubted I could keep my eyes open all the way through. The tiny community had lost sympathy for the mother after the first 3yrs. her daughter went missing. Everyone simply considered the girl either dead or a runaway who was never returning. If you have anything better to watch, go ahead and watch it, and keep ‘Elsewhere’ for some other time when you feel bored and you have nothing else to watch, then you might find it pleasing as i did.
