This film, in the first act we are taught, in a rather funny way that the world of this film is to say the least honest. Everyone coldly delivers, whether asked or not exactly what is on their mind. The concept had a different potential then people are expecting. This is not Carry/Liar, Liar humor. You have to be a bit more witty and insightful then that to enjoy this movie. How do people live in a world with no lies? Well, when you want to watch a film, you go to the theatre. In that theatre you’ll see a guy sitting in a chair reciting history. Ricky Gervais was once again playing himself. I know he is a comedian (a term I use loosely in regard to him) and not an actor, but really any cameo he’s had in a film has been awful and more fool me for seeing a film where he is in the starring role. To me, the strength of the philosophical treatment is the questions it poses, not the answers it provides. The movie doesn’t really provide a lot of answers. All in all, not a classic movie, but a much better way to spend one’s day than many of the other movies out there today. Watch free full The Invention Of Lying film online.
