Watch Gridiron Gang film. A film “Gridiron Gang” by Phil Joanou. It was great! The beginning was very violent, depressing, and scary- to the point where my friend and I considered leaving. Gridiron Gang is a movie that understands who its audience is, and it plays them like a fiddle. But you know what else? I don’t care. The audience absolutely loved it. Biggest crowd reaction of any movie I’ve seen so far year 2006. I loved Varsity Blues and The Program. The Replacements failed to meet expectations and Remember the Titans was just OK. and don’t even mention The Longest Yard remake. I am glad my boys wanted to watch this film. There was an excellent message. I would recommend this film to everyone. The end of the movie shows several scenes of a documentary where the real Sean Porter is saying the lines that Johnson was speaking in the movie. So take a chance on the movie and chances are you will enjoy the whole 2 hrs and some change that this movie is. Watch free full Gridiron Gang film online.
Watch The Proposition film. A film “The Proposition” by John Hillcoat. Following the rape and murder of a colonial family, outlaw brothers Charlie and Mikey burns are captured by ruthless local lawman, Captain Stanley. Just superb - wonderful, austere direction that gets the best from a great cast and some extraordinary landscapes. The violence connects you with the feelings and thoughts of the characters and conveys the the mood of the era - I came away feeling as if I had experienced living in “wild” Queensland. The film is a strangely skewed morality tale crossed with a tale of the absurd. I did not believe that our early settlement revolved around the gun mania of American settlement but I was not bothered by the gun culture shown in The Proposition. The story is uniquely presented, different enough that it kept me very involved wondering what was coming next. An extraordinary film and I hope against hope that it will be eminently successful and therefore lead to the creation of other films. Watch free full The Proposition film online.
Watch Dead Man film. A film “Dead Man” by Jim Jarmusch. What a movie! Jim Jarmusch casts a skeletal Johnny Depp as an observer who learns to write blood poetry with his pistol in this dream Western. I re-watched this movie a week ago and I’m still amazed by how Jarmusch gets under my skin and makes me think. Jarmusch plays with one of his favorite themes here: death. But of course, he’s not limiting himself to that. Young accountant William Blake (Johnny Depp) seems to have lost everything as his parents have died and his fianceé left him without a reason; so he decides to take a job in Machine, a town located at the end of “civilization” in the Wild Wild West. This script must have touched something deeply spiritual in all of them and I, if I were them, would have felt as if I wasn’t even in the film. Help by a haunting and beautiful score from Neil Young and an extraordinary cast the film succeed in transforming the wood wagon of hell in which William Blake embarks to the wooden vessel to heaven in which he will lie. Watch Amazing Grace film. A film “Amazing Grace” by Michael Apted. This is an inspiring story based on a legendary historical British Member of Parliament, William Wilberforce. During the late 18th century and early 19th century, a very young Wilberforce is elected to Parliament and over the course of several decades leads the fight to ban slavery. The most charming parts were fodder provided by the fabulous screen writing and brought to electric life by Ioan Gruffudd as impassioned Wilberforce, Benedict Cumberpatch as driven and farseeing William Pitt, P.M., Romola Garai as Wilberforce’s zesty and feisty wife Barbara and the surprisingly fantastic delivery by Jeremy Swift as Ioan’s long-suffering wise butler. It was gorgeous to look at, brilliantly capturing the look and sound of a sumptuous age. Benedict Cumberbatch gives a strong representation of William Pitt, and the overall impression of the film is one whose history has been well researched. Well worth a viewing. Watch “Orlando” film. A film Orlando by Sally Potter. “Orlando” is a curiously ravishing series of essays built around an the title character’s travel through four centuries and two genders. Based on Virginia Woolfs novel, it captures very well her anger about the sexual discrimination of women in society as well as the sexual ambiguous and ironic tone of the novel. If you want to enjoy Swinton in a role for which she truly deserved a golden statuette, see Orlando. I have to say also that I love seeing and hearing dear Jimmy Sommerville whom we miss so much. While I tend to be hyper-critical of all films, with “Orlando”. It flows simply and quietly but with great intensity and an underlying irony at every moment. This film must be Potter’s masterpiece. This is one of 20 or so movies I’ve ever seen that gets better each time I watch it. Approach this movie with an open mind, and it’s sure to become one of your favorites. Watch Jane Eyre film. A film “Jane Eyre” by Franco Zeffirelli. I’ve seen this particular film adaptation of Jane Eyre four times, and I’m still not tired of it. The film is made wonderfully: the cast, the music, the entire convention - It supplies the viewer with the right picture of the Victorian England. I particularly liked the scenes shot at Haddon Hall with William Hurt. I think this is a highly successful movie. It is just a different reading of a famous tale. If you are hung up on the idea that movies must be replicas of the book they are based on, then you will probably hate Zeffirelli’s interpretation. But on its own, I think the film works marvelous well. The story’s mystery is somehow downplayed, while the romance is amplified, and I think this approach works great. I must say that Zeffirelli’s JANE EYRE can be watched many times and each time one can discover something new, something valuable, teaching, and moving. Watch free full Jane Eyre 1996 film online.
Watch “Torque” film. A film Torque by Joseph Kahn. This movie is just simply good B-movie action entertainment. Its obviously no Oscar material, no but did you seriously expected it to be?. “Torque“, on the other hand, is a perfect example of a movie that is truly so bad, it’s good. Or at least enjoyable in a surreal, lunatic sort of way. This movie seriously doesn’t have a brain in its head. The movie has a bit of an awkward kind of humor, which they should had left out in my opinion. But it’s film-making is too smart. Yes, the story is crap, but you don’t watch a motorcycle chase movie for STORY. If you sit back and enjoy this modern riff on Roger Corman, you might find a smile on your face. Watch Wild Things 2 film. A film “Wild Things 2″ by Jack Perez. The original ‘Wild Things’ was hardly a classic, although the movie had some apparent attraction. The movie is predictable from the first opening sequence and the character’s identically match one’s from the first movie. There is no real character development, but what these girls lack in dialogue they gain in natural assets. Susan Ward is a very attractive woman, but she isn’t a great actress and certainly doesn’t have what it takes to play a lead role. You may recognize her from her supporting role in “Shallow Hal,” and she did a fine job in that movie. I actually guessed the whole movie but as a joke-I really was joking when I said: hey what if this happens. Not that it actually would. Well-it did. I actually wish there was an award to give a movie for this kind of thing, because if there was, Wild Things Two would surely deserve to win. Overall if you have seen Wild Things one and enjoyed it, you most likely will not enjoy this, because apparently I’m one of few people who did.I guess if you want to just for the heck of it go ahead you actually might enjoy it. Watch Total Recall film. A film “Total Recall” by Paul Verhoeven. Total Recall, based on “We Can Remember It for You Wholesale”, a short story from 1974 by Philip K. Dick (and novelized in conjunction with the film production by Piers Anthony), had a laborious history getting to the silver screen. Arnold fits perfectly in the role of Doug Quaid (definitely his best acting in a movie to date) the confused construction worker and Ronny Cox provides his usual evil plotting arch bad-guy. Verhoeven even gets a good performance from Big Arnie , okay this body builder was never in danger of winning an Oscar but Arnie doesn’t send himself up and nor do his wise cracks like in his other blockbusters but he does make for an affable - Though violent - hero. Many people do not realize that `Minority Report’ with Tom Cruise is actually a sequel to this film. Total Recall is not greater than the sum of its parts, has patent absurdities that insult intelligence, and bloody violence. Still, it remains Arnold Schwarzenegger’s strongest. Watch 2001: A Space Odyssey film. A film “2001: A Space Odyssey” by Stanley Kubrick. I’ll give four good reasons why 2001 is the greatest cinema experience of all time: 1) It is a visual Odyssey that could only be told on the big screen. Beauty is an under-rated concept. Sure, you’ll often see nice photography and so on in films. But when did you last see a film that contains beauty purely for the sake of it?. 2001 is primarily a technical film. The reason it is slow, and filled with minutae is because the aim was to realistically envision the future of technology (and the past, in the awe inspiring opening scenes). The film’s greatest strength is in the details. The beauty of 2001 is that the ending need not mean anything deep, it can just be a purely plot driven explanation and the entire movie can be viewed as an entertaining journey through space. Take all the time you want, but eventually you are going to have to see this film. If it can bring some order and understanding to the universe of a struggling artist like me, it can certainly do it for you as well. Watch free full 2001: A Space Odyssey film online now..!!
