I was lucky enough to catch the North American premier last night at the Toronto International Film Festival. Soon afterwards we are presented with an example of capitalism gone awry. A judge in a US town was locking up juvenile offenders, for “crimes” such as throwing meat or criticizing a vice-principal online. My NY audience was utterly silent when we saw what FDR wanted to do, and might have done, had he lived longer. I will not be punished again for pre-existent conditions, car accidents caused by somebody else, retributions because somebody stole my wallet and I was punished. If capitalism, as an old Fifties instructional film here intones, is “our American way of life,” then how come it’s failing to serve so many Americans?. Wall Street and Washington since Reagan and suggests that Obama augers a potential end to that relationship. Watch This Is It film. A film “This Is It” by Kenny Ortega. Watch This Is It movie online. I therefore had zero expectations for this movie, and even groaned that I had to come in at 6 this morning to preview it for my theater. We went to the cinema in the morning and from the beginning I was moved. I have never done it before but in the very beginning a tear came to my eye. If the rehearsals could be this good and engaging, one could only imagine what the concerts would’ve been. His voice sometimes showed his age, but his dance moves were not, at all. Also the young female guitarist was not just good looking, but crazily good with the guitar as well. If you’re even the slightest fan, this is a must see. If you’re not, I dare you not to be won over. Also, if you’re looking for signs of fatigue from Michael Jackson, you will be disappointed. Any sadness is brought by the viewer. There’s not one nod to Jackson’s demise or when it occurs. He looks thin, but even in a rehearsal mode, he’s electrifying, and I think that’s why the film works. Shame on those people. Genius at work, a perfectionist down the smallest detail and I think the film has captured this very well. What I liked a lot was the fact that the film was not concentrating on his death and tradegy, but solely on his concert, his music, and his geniality and it was a fitting tribute to one of the greatest musicians of our times.Michael you were truly one of God’s greatest gifts to those of us lucky to be alive now. Watch Fahrenheit 9/11 film. A film “Fahrenheit 9/11″ by Michael Moore. Online watch Fahrenheit 9/11 movie here. Michael Moore has an agenda. However, every documentary does. Believe it or not folks, but a documentary does not just show reality, it also interprets it. Remember the experts that Ken Burns shows in all of his documentaries?. As a movie, it’s a whirlwind tour of corruption and diplomatic deceit at the highest levels of the industrial-political machine, mixed with direct examination of the lives of the “ordinary” people affected by the decisions of the aristocratic few. Moore also uses his various clips and interviews to show how similar the American civilian population are to the Iraqis. His portrayal of the Saddam-era Iraq was certainly biased, but so many people are happy, looking for joy and prosperity, something that isn’t as alien as some of us would like to think of the Iraqis as being. As I sat there in the movie theater, with the end credits coming on screen and the house lights shining brightly down. I saw something that I have never seen in my life. Moore will be called anti-American, unpatriotic, and probably a fascist. This, of course, is the last resort of a regime and its supporters who have no credible challenge to the facts of the film, only to its message. The worst thing about this movie for me, though was the pall of hypocrisy that hung over it. As Moore decries the war profiteers, he becomes one. Watch free full Fahrenheit 9/11 film online.

Watch Love the Beast film. A film “Love the Beast” by Eric Bana. Love the Beast attempts to capture and represent the intense enthusiasm that Bana feels for the challenges and collective memory inculcated in his 1974 XB Ford Falcon coupe. Eric Bana has constructed an entertaining and enjoyable look at his personal love affair with his first car (a 1974 Ford GT Falcon Coupe), the first car he ever bought as a teenager. I have to admit, there were some really amusing conversations and some other dialogue, especially with Dr. Phil, which really gets you thinking outside the the whole spectrum of cars. Similarly, Bana designed the film to be watched by an international audience and the opening scenes about “what most people around the world think of Australia” were interesting for locating Bana in the context of his background. Just to let everybody know, I’m not criticizing this movie, only rating it according to my opinion. I got the movie knowing it would be about cars, but I thought that there would also be more to it.
