Watch Hannah Montana: The Movie film. A film “Hannah Montana: The Movie” director by Peter Chelsom. I just wanted to comment on how completely ridiculous it is that grown people and older teenagers are commenting on how stupid, obnoxious, childish, un-funny, etc this movie was. Miley has risen the bar for child actors everywhere. The way she reads her lines off like a dyslexic 4th grader, while amplifying them as loud as possible is phenomenal. For a teen idol, or rather, a seven-year-old’s idol, Miley is bizarrely untalented. Her voice is fine for the audience she targets. Billy Ray Cyrus, on the other hand, is the complete opposite of his daughter. Instead of overstating every single line and facial expression, he barely manages to pull them off with disdain. I thought Disney had a chance to really make a point of never forgetting where your roots are remembering your family comes first but they sadly missed the boat on both accounts instead focusing weakly on how Hannah is more important than being true to yourself.
