Watch The Pursuit of Happyness film. A film “The Pursuit of Happyness” by Gabriele Muccino. I really enjoyed it, and felt that it lived up to the teary and heartwarming trailer. While the movie has an uplifting “go for your dreams” message, the deepest theme is that of family. There is a great lesson that is learned in this movie and it truly shares the struggles of everyday life. All this while, he must appear for work in the morning in a suit and tie, and be ready to charm some of the wealthiest and most powerful people in the Bay Area. On the other hand, if you can leave this movie without a burning indignation that any American child of any race should have to struggle just to have a place to sleep, you must be cynical indeed. Will and Jadyn Smith deserve huge kudos. The real-life father and son dynamic enriched the film and don’t know if other actors could have been as powerful. And Jaden Smith is too adorable! Their on screen chemistry is almost unbearable to watch! Go see this movie! Great acting, great directing, great writing. Watch Ice Age: The Meltdown film. A film “Ice Age: The Meltdown” by Carlos Saldanha. Watch full Ice Age 2 The Meltdown 2006 film here. Similar to the first Ice Age, the promotional material for the sequel was out in the theatres way in advance, and courtesy of the Scrat character too, up to its usual antics of getting to that elusive acorn. A subtle flaw but not something the creators could avoid unless they wanted to make a “Mid-Ice Age” movie. How the tribe survived multiple thousands of years is not addressed, but who cares?. Will Syd ever find respect? Most importantly. will you and your family enjoy this movie? Of course you will! This is an excellent family film that mixes humor for both kids and adults. The characters are witty and entertaining and Scrat gets a lot more screen time in his plight for the great acorn. If you liked the first Ice Age then seeing the sequel is completely risk free. This film is a throwback to what made classics such as “The Little Mermaid” and “Beauty and The Beast” work: solid acting and a good writing base. Watch Happy Feet film. A film “Happy Feet” by George Miller and Warren Coleman. I saw this film on October 2nd, 2006 in Indianapolis. I am one of the judges for the Heartland Film Festival’s Truly Moving Picture Award. The musical numbers, instead of having a disrupting effect and stopping the flow of the story, actually advance the plot because they’re integral to the story and this particular type of penguin. Mumble heart belongs to the best singer in his age group, Gloria (Brittany Murphy), but without the gift of song he can’t hope to woo her. The film I went to see was basically a really exciting adventure story with excellent acting - you really felt for Mumble - he wasn’t just a stock character. Not only did this movie make me want a penguin of my own, but it made me want to help our world stop over producing, and start preserving. Happy Feet is an ambitious animated comedy. It’s ambitious in its scope; there are epic aerial shots of the vast icy glacier, even from outer spaces, it treats salient issues like the effects of overfishing, it takes well-deserved jabs at organized religion, in which the elder emperor penguins represent the archaic values and traditions that they mindlessly adhere to. Watch X-Men: The Last Stand film. A film “X-Men: The Last Stand” by Brett Ratner. A cure for the mutant gene has been found, and the X-Men, led by Professor Xavier (Patrick Stewart) now have the dilemma of whether they are willing to lose their powers and live as normal people. The phoenix part is also extremely disappointing, we aren’t ever told why Phoenix does what she does and who is in control. You can only go so far as to blame Brett Ratner, he does a good job with the battle scenes but always seems to want to rush anything involving a character’s emotion. I was pleased to see them stay faithful to certain scenes in the Dark Phoenix Saga comic. The other “bit-part” mutants were not as annoying as I’d anticipated, as some of them actually were very impressive. The mutants are always a blast to watch. Hugh Jackman returns to his old guns, relying on witty remarks and vicious attacks on unsuspecting victims. Overall, it was worth seeing on the big screen, and I’m glad that I saw it. Watch Cars film. A film “Cars” by John Lasseter and Joe Ranft. Where to watch Cars 2006 film online?. Watch here. It’s not hard to make a successful movie. It’s simple, really. Exceed my expectations. Make me feel. Force me to care. Deliver a somewhat clichéd message, but deliver it in such a way that the meaning resounds. The story is about Lightning McQueen a rookie NASCAR-type racer. Of course, he is a car and not a human; or, he is a human in the form of the car. They didn’t overload the movie with automotive jokes, which I think would have hurt the story and character development. Owen Wilson’s voice is great for his role. Overall, it’s on par with other Pixar films, even if it may not be their best so far. Being an artist I was struck by the vibrancy of the animation. The colors were rich and beautiful, and there was such diverse vocal talent that the entire experience made it a treat for the crowd’s eyes and ears. And while John Ratzenberger’s character doesn’t have a lot of screen time, I really enjoyed him! I’ll be going back to see it when it releases in theaters so I can get a better feel for the sound, as it wasn’t the best in an outdoor setting. All in all, “Cars” is a visual feast outside and an effective storytelling inside. When it comes to the basis of their appeal, it doesn’t keep up with the rest of Pixar films which have sped up far ahead and this may yet be their first underachiever. Watch Night at the Museum film. A film “Night at the Museum” by Shawn Levy. Watch Night at the Museum 2006 film here. I came into this movie thinking that it would suck AND disliking Ben Stiller very much. As for this film, I thought it was really cute. It’s perfect for a kid’s imagination. I saw the movie at a pre-screening and every kid after wards was smiling and excitedly talking about the movie. The humor is silly and well-done slapstick without much in the way of vulgarity. All the famous faces really brought charm to the movie and I don’t think it would have work well with anyone else. Dick Van Dyke, Mickey Rooney and Bill Cobbs are classic, they haven’t lost a step. Rooney is still the little bantam rooster with the attitude! Van Dyke clearly anchors the trio. Everyone in the theater clapped when it was over, so they must have liked it too. Teddy Roosevelt, Attila The Hun etc It’s a film that makes you laugh out loud in the cinema if you’re a kid and I have to admit I did the same a few times. I would definitely recommend it.
