Watch Push film. A film “Push” director by Paul McGuigan. Paul McGuigan’s sci-fi narrative “Push” may visually resemble a superhero movie for the artsy-fartsy crowd mostly because of Peter Sova’s extravagant cinematography. The story is sort of Heroes on steroids, with a large population of enhanced humans with psychic and telepathic powers under the sway of either criminal or government organizations. The main idea of this film is a kind of shadow war being waged by those with psychic powers. I felt like I was going to fall asleep, they dragged the movie and some of the stuff could have been cut. Don’t get me wrong, the acting wasn’t that bad but it was extremely boring and could have been better. Filming the whole thing in Hong Kong serves only to alienate the viewer further from anything with which to identify, as the locales are presented more as an alien nightmare realm. if you just need something to do and you want to waste some time in fantasy land, check it out at the theaters.
