Watch Letters from Iwo Jima film. A film “Letters from Iwo Jima” by Clint Eastwood. To the Japanese, Iwo jima was a part of their homeland where a foreign invader was going to land and begin its invasion on Japanese soil. n October, Clint Eastwood launched the hyped ”Flags of our Fathers”, that was said to be the champion of the year. However, the movie was a huge disappointment, proving to be a clichéd war drama that added nothing new to the genre. Ken Watanabe shines as general Tadamishi Kuribayachi (or something similar). He shows why he’s one of the most talented Japanese actors around and proves he deserves another Oscar nomination. The strangest part of all. Clint Eastwood has made a Japanese movie that the Japanese should have made. This movie shows better than any other film that there’s really no good guys or bad guys when it comes to war. Watch Mystic River film. A film “Mystic River film” by Clint Eastwood. Most murder mysteries go the way of unleashing tension and a mounting sense of suspense and danger as the plot originating from the murder in itself reveals red herrings and a more sinister plot underneath just waiting to be discovered. Lovers of great acting had best not pass up ‘Mystic River,’ Clint Eastwood’s powerful, award-laden adaptation of Dennis Lehane’s best selling novel. It’s much more than average. What might appear as a normal murder mystery is more. The acting, particularly from Robbins and Penn, is immaculate. Robbins is still recovering from child sexual abuse along time ago. People that have read the book say that it remains true to its pages and that maybe is the reason why things happen slowly and the end is not an absolute full stop. I was very impressed, since the tragic story of the loss of the youth is very real, full of human flaws, disturbances, prejudice and judgments.
