As Potter fans will know, in GoF, Harry is now fourteen and in his Fourth Year at Hogwarts. The thing I disliked most about the movie is that Albus Dumbledore is not portrayed as the calm, wise old wizard he is in the books. Instead he is portrayed as a stormy, confused old man that doesn’t have much of a clue what’s going on. It would have taken a minimum of another half hour to flesh the movie out and that simply wasn’t going to be done by a studio whose primary target is a younger audience. Since when exactly, has Dumbledore ever lost control and shaken Harry. If this is how he reacts to harry’s name being entered, what the hell is he going to do when Harry destroys his office in The Order of the Pheonix. This movie, like many, does have its shortfalls. I believe that Dumbledore was portrayed as a little too intense, like an old Al Pacino. Instead of the benevolent, kind, and good-humored old man I have always loved in the books. Watch Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban film. A film “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” by Alfonso Cuarón. People may ask where i can watch Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban film? yes you can. Harry Potter is growing up! The voice is deepening, the shoulders are broadening. The only way to satisfy fans would be to include everything from the book, which would require a miniseries. Since that isn’t what these films are, the story has to be abridged. Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson are back as Harry, Ron and Hermoine, with Hermoine in particular getting to do a lot more. There are less Quidditch matches, and more menace, in keeping with the improved complexity of Rowling’s third novel. What makes this film work far more than the previous films are three key aspects - the acting, the screenplay, and the production design/cinematography - and all of them I credit directly to Cuaron’s new vision. Overall, any age should enjoy this film. The visual effects are not the most spectacular I’ve seen, but fantastic enough to take your imagination away from the real world for 141 minutes. Watch “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” film. A film Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by Chris Columbus. Chris Columbus said he wanted to make a 2,5 hour movie that feels like 30 Minutes. Well, in my case he surely succeeded! I saw the movie as a member of the press and couldn’t get enough of it. Crap this is not and a year on the main characters are a lot older, taller and voices broken. Many of the original cast return and a few new characters appear in this such as Kenneth Branagh and Jason Isaacs. I have never read the books so I bring an outlook to the films that is free of personal bias toward the quality of the adaptation or the faithfulness to Rowling’s words. One thing this film does do, that the first one did not, is it made me want to read the books. The problem is: how do we convince muggles put-off by the 1st film to go see this one? Why should they give this one a chance? Answer: If you know someone who likes Fun, make them see this film!. As with many modern-day, big-budget films, the visuals, the special-effects and the surround sound are all astounding. Definitely entertaining for all ages with no worries about language.
