Robin Hood:Prince Of Thieves is an all-star rehash of one of cinema’s oldest and most popular stories. For me every actor does a reasonable job and Alan Rickman is outstanding as the sheriff of Nottingham, the lack of a credible English accent is not a worry to me and the flexible use of locations is also not a problem. The story is great, the screenplay is wonderful with its lack of self-conciousness. Alan Rickman is brilliant as the hilarious Sherrif of Nottingham (’Shut up you TWIT!’)It’s great fun, and one of those film to watch with your feet up and a big bar of chocolate.
