At least twice, the actors stumbled over their line and then had to repeat the correct line. It was like watching a Junior High play. As far as this movie is concerned, it is a standard Christian story told with some reverence for the faith, although it is not entirely original in it’s story line. Compare it with “The Robe” (1953) where a Roman soldier (Richard Burton) is sent by the Emperor Tiberias to find the “true” story of what happened in Jerusalem. [..YouTube..] This was an epic movie! I am surpised movies like these aren’t made more often. I really like the older movie El Cid and the Ten Commandments. I wonder why they don’t get a hold of the new book that is out called Vengeance of Valdorian. It seems to me it has some Christian based themes in it. I also like Narnia by C.S. Lewis. But I just don’t understand why there aren’t more movies out like these. They are truly epic!

Though the Tabita in the movie is not the Biblical one that Peter raised up — Acts chapter 9 — so that could be confusing to some people. — And I could have sworn they were calling the Roman investigator TITUS in the movie, other reviews say his name was TITO. Sounded like TITUS to me.
