Watch Total Recall film. A film “Total Recall” director by Paul Verhoeven. Total Recall, based on “We Can Remember It for You Wholesale”, a short story from 1974 by Philip K. Dick (and novelized in conjunction with the film production by Piers Anthony), had a laborious history getting to the silver screen. Arnold fits perfectly in the role of Doug Quaid (definitely his best acting in a movie to date) the confused construction worker and Ronny Cox provides his usual evil plotting arch bad-guy. Verhoeven even gets a good performance from Big Arnie , okay this body builder was never in danger of winning an Oscar but Arnie doesn’t send himself up and nor do his wise cracks like in his other blockbusters but he does make for an affable – Though violent – hero. Many people do not realize that `Minority Report’ with Tom Cruise is actually a sequel to this film. Total Recall is not greater than the sum of its parts, has patent absurdities that insult intelligence, and bloody violence. Still, it remains Arnold Schwarzenegger’s strongest. [..YouTube..] This was back in a time when they revealed too much in the trailer.
[..YouTube..] Il peggior film abbia mai visto
[..YouTube..] Personally I think the trailer shows too much
[..YouTube..] when I saw this trailer,I was only a kid…..
[..YouTube..] 20 more years for the movie….how long…….
[..YouTube..] I sour this movie last night on channel 10
[..YouTube..] The movie is badass but this trailer is completely spoiling the movie. Glad I didn’t watch it back then!
[..YouTube..] BADASS i gotta see this
[..YouTube..] one of my 100 film you should see before you die!!
[..YouTube..] great film, lots of laughs, violence, good old-school special effects, and (thx to pk.dick) a great underlying story! remember i was 14 or 15 when i saw it at the cinema, and was afraid they wouldn’t let me in, coz it was rated R. check out the sweded version on youtube, one of the better ones as well
[..YouTube..] Worst movie ever made. 2084 Mars is the lamest dystopia ever visited on film.
[..YouTube..] Where does somebody claim that Verhoeven wrote the story? (“…multi-layered screenplay of Verhoeven’s FILM” is the quote, I think. Film, not script or story.) And Starship Troopers is a very clever, very funny satire. An adaptation doesn’t have to be literal/faithful to be good. But anyway, to each his own.
[..YouTube..] This movie Fucking Rocks!!!
[..YouTube..] The tagline for this movie shoulda been: GET YOUR ASS TO MARSXD
[..YouTube..] GIEF THESE PEPUL AIIIIRR!!!
[..YouTube..] Conzider dat a divorce!! xD Arnie is da man dude
[..YouTube..] Verhoeven definitely did not write this film’s story. This is the man that made Starship Troopers, we’re talking about (inaccurately, at that).
[..YouTube..] Philip K. Dick stories make great films.
[..YouTube..] cheesy and obscure, but i love the whole dreamy sci-fi/fantasy feel it has.
[..YouTube..] Verhoeven is an ass-kicking machine!
