Hi…Guys,
I’m krish, I think You guys will able to help me on my prob,
I’m facing a prob with Ms XPe,
I have connected Xpe machines to my environment though 2003 server domain,
So while I’m using my web mails I cannot download attached files, it gives a massage that I have to low the internet security level, but the problem is I cannot do that in XPe IE browser (Because it’s very secured), since of that only solution I see is, I have to change my domain policies, ether I cannot allow that because of the security, so how can I resolve this problem without changing my domains policies.

Thanks….

Hi.....Krish,

I have simulated this problem in my lab, for this kind of a situation where u don’t like to change your domain policies , you have to go for registry level editing, follow this path,

Go to registry editor, and underneath HKEY_CURRENT_USER
\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\internet settings\zones

There u can change those valves, then u will able to open files.

good luck

Hi,

What is your web mail service? ex:- yahoo, msn, gmail or mx exchange 2003 web ....  Roll Eyes

However you can edit your registry using below steps. (Pls take registry backup before you do this.)

Start --> run --> regedit  and press Ok button.
